Madison among top 10 cities best-suited to recover
A report issued by Moody’s Analytics has listed Madison as one of the best-positioned cities in the country to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a Forbes story.
The analysis compared population density, workforce quality, educational attainment, and other factors. Other cities in the top 10 (in alphabetical order) are: Boise, Idaho; Denver, Colorado; Durham, N.C.; Provo, Utah; Raleigh, N.C.; Salt Lake City, Utah; San Jose, California; Tucson, Arizona; and Washington, D.C.
Cities listed as the worst-positioned are Detroit, Michigan; Honolulu, Hawaii; Los Angeles, California; McAllen, Texas; Miami, Florida; New Haven, Connecticut; New York City, N.Y.; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Stockton, California; and Tampa, Florida.
