Wandering Mind Spirits produces first liqueur
Whether you view Justin BonDurant as a mad scientist or a spirited entrepreneur, he has finally accomplished something four years in the making — he has produced his first liqueur.
Now available at local liquor stores and establishments such as Graze and Mint Mark, BonDurant’s new concoction — Hibiscus Liqueur — is a hibiscus-forward, 44-proof spirit flavored with lime, ginger, and cinnamon.
In case you’re wondering, the business name of Wandering Mind Spirits is a nod to the way the inventor’s brain admittedly works. BonDurant, who grew up in Middleton, has worked as a bartender and remains the bar manager at RED, a sushi restaurant on West Washington Avenue.
