What would you say are the best things about living and working in Dane County?

I love Dane County because there is something for everyone, all within a relatively short trip. You can be downtown one minute living the city life, and in just a 15-minute drive you can be camping at a state park, away from it all. Our lakes are beautiful and the restaurant and entertainment options are endless!

Do you have any secret talents or abilities that people would be surprised to discover?

I was a competitive roller figure skater from about third grade until I was 21. I competed across the country with my figure skating club, and earned a spot at Nationals three times.

What are your guilty pleasures?

I love to cook (and eat), especially with others. Some of my fondest memories growing up were cooking with my mother and grandmother. Fortunately, as an adult, I’ve been able to translate that love into a lucrative side hustle. I am currently a director with The Pampered Chef. In this role, I have the opportunity to help families learn how to prepare meals together and gather around the table faster by showcasing our tools and recipes via an in-home cooking experience or a fun virtual experience. Plus, I’ve earned two free vacations just for doing what I love (on top of a fabulous income and kitchen full of awesome products).
