Brink’s Archipelago Village plans discussed

Credit: Potter Lawson

Developer Curt Brink met with neighbors about plans for his Archipelago Village in the 900 block of East Washington Avenue.

According to a Capital Times story, Brink’s project has been reduced from a proposed 13 stories to 11 floors due to Federal Aviation Association rules. The building would offer as many as three floors of retail and restaurant space, offices above, and a green roof. As proposed, phase one would also include 722 parking spaces. If approved, Brink would like to begin construction this summer so the building can open in 2021.

Brink is also proposing a second phase that could one day add another office building at the corner of East Washington Avenue and South Brearly Street, more parking, and retail and apartments to East Main Street, as well.
