This week, according to a channel3000.com report, 158 Madison employees were informed that the Bimbo bakery at 3401 E. Washington Ave. would be closing on Jan. 2, 2019, eliminating all but a few jobs.

In what is being described as a business and health care milestone, the Madison-based Phoenix LLC has delivered a neutron generator system to Shine Medical Technologies Inc. of Janesville, putting Shine on the path to become the leading domestic producer of a medical isotope known as Molybdenum-99, or Mo-99).

Berntsen awarded $5M federal contract

Berntsen International Inc. of Madison has been awarded a five-year, $5 million contract by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to provide the survey monuments used to mark the nation’s boundaries.
