Chasing your dreams in stressful times

In our training, we constantly coach our participants to have a positive vision of future success and a plan to reach it. You have probably heard that any road will get you there if you don’t know where you’re going. It’s all about leading an intentional life. Establishing a powerful personal vision is work. Following through on that work can be even more challenging.

Think what it’s like to chase success, build a life, and try to make it through both the ups and the downs — pushing to build business, bring in sales, and climb the ladder while at the same time trying to take care of a family and lead a happy, fulfilling life. To have it all. To be recognized and become someone. What you’re becoming is surely more important than what you have.

In today’s world, which requires everyone to do more, better, faster, and with fewer resources, I have noticed how stressed many younger couples are from trying to do it all. Dropping kids off at day care before going to the office, leaving to pick them up, and being wrapped up in all their activities takes multitasking to new levels. All of this is good and very tough to manage. These young couples still have to put in lots of time to focus on a career or business. As difficult as all this seems, these are usually the best times of their lives. Sometimes the focus on career becomes too much of a driving force and can drive the end of a relationship as well.

When bad things happen, it’s easy to give up, settle for less, and wonder how you’re ever going to get there. No time, sometimes not enough money. Yet we know we have to rise to the challenges of finding more customers, keeping them, and being productive for our company — always growing and taking the right and necessary actions. At the same time, we have to have a personal life that is well balanced — whatever that means.

Its true that chasing the dreams in the stressful times is all the more difficult!! The fact that many lose hope in this struggle and just few survive!! But real success and happiness will stay with us a long as we face them more with more courage and perseverance.
