Deplore Hillary, impeach Trump, imagine McMullin

This blog is rigged by secret, conspiratorial forces known only to Breitbart and the Midnight Shopper & Enquirer.

My conservative and Republican friends are correct. (And you are my friends.) I am negligent in making the case that Hillary Clinton would be a disaster as president — not to mention (which I am about to do) a total buzz kill. Do we really want to put a more grating version of Rosanne Barr in the Oval Office?

The woman is a chronic liar. She’ll say one thing to her Wall Street bundlers and another on the debate stage with Feel the Bernie.

Free sex changes? More free stuff!

She is a grifter who got rich by selling access to the government trough. In the last debate, Hillary promised to appoint justices who would put government in charge of political speech and how many sweets we can eat.

Anyone who disagrees gets lumped into her Basket of Deplorables.

Who made Donald Trump? People like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Andrea Mitchell. Who put America into this quandary? You did, my liberal-progressive-socialist acquaintances, with your arrogance and your condescension. You over-played your hand and over-stayed your welcome.

“Voters hear what the leaders and pundits don’t: the profound contempt for America and Americans that Mrs. Clinton and President Obama share and their frightening lack of emotional connection to this nation and its people. Mr. Obama is arch, patronizing, so magnificently weary of having to explain it all, again and again, to the dummies surrounding him.”

That is David Gelernter in the Wall Street Journal. It’s how he argues that a vote for Trump, however flawed, is better than Hillary. I understand that argument.

WikiLeaks details how top Democrats impugn Catholics and their religion. More of Obama’s “clinging to their guns and their religion.”

Or being out-and-out lied to. “If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor” was PolitiFact’s lie of the year. Or the YouTube video that killed four brave Americans in Benghazi.

Or when every time a Muslim extremist commits an atrocity, Obama goes on national TV to wag his finger and hector the public about not going all Ku Klux Klan.

Or when gangbangers turn Raymond Road and Park Street into the streets of Laredo, the Madison Common Council blames the police for exercising their “white privilege.” Or when a violence-prone convicted felon, orbiting Jupiter on magic mushrooms and prescription Xanax, attacks a police officer in a darkened stairwell, Madison’s bien pensants blame the cop.

We people be so stupid. You object that a supercilious know-it-all named Mike Dukakis released a convicted murderer for a fun-filled weekend furlough? You must be a racist!

The same liberals who pooh-poohed Bill Clinton sending out Arkansas state troopers as procurators now say the woman must be believed if she says Trump groped her for 15 minutes on an airplane and didn’t cry out for help.

Free college for illegal aliens, men in the women’s bathroom, government regulation of political speech, pallets of greenbacks to Iran. Calling Fort Hood and San Bernardino jihadist slaughter, “workplace violence.”

I did not molest that woman on the plane (that dog!)

Trump caught lightning when he said he had no time for political correctness.

But leave it to this privileged pig-man to dive head first for every bit of chum thrown his way. The man keeps digging the hole deeper. The woman on the plane just wasn’t attractive enough to molest.

“Yeah, I’m gonna go after her,” he said in front of the cameras, microphones, and a thousand witnesses Friday in North Carolina. “Believe me, she would not be my first choice. That I can tell you. You don’t know. That would not be my first choice.”

“When you looked at that horrible woman last night, you said, ‘I don’t think so! I don’t think so!’” Trump said.

Donald Trump may have captured the zeitgeist of many Americans — We Few, We Proud, We Deplorable. But he himself is an imperfect vessel. The man lacks common human empathy. At long last, sir, have you no decency?

Even Gelernter seems to understand that. A respected thinker and author, he wants the citizenry to vote Trump in — then turn right around and impeach the bastard! All “to put Mike Pence in charge.”

Mr. Trump will be impeachment bait. So will Mrs. Clinton. Even some Democrats have had enough.

Hey, where have we heard that before? Could it be Blaska’s Bring It! blogge?

A more likely scenario: Evan McMullin wins Utah and Idaho and their 10 electoral votes. (“Deep red Utah becomes a wild card.”) In polling over the weekend, Rasmussen has Trump at 30%, McMullin at 29%, and Clinton at 28%.

"Who made Donald Trump? People like Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Andrea Mitchell".

Wow ! That is a stretch even for you, Dave. The folks that made trump are the right-wing wacko talking heads; religious zealots of all stripes; the "no compromise" members of congress; the us vs them walkerites; the low-info voters encouraged to be envious of everyone they perceive more "elite" than they are; and the racists and bigots groomed by the right since Nixon. And yes Dave, you are responsible from Trump. Own it. Roll in it. Celebrate it. You got what you wanted. Live with it.

What will be interesting is if President HRC takes some advice from Trump and goes after all that opposed her during the campaign. If so, you better be looking for a good lawyer, or a tailor that specializes in prison garb.

Jeebus, Dave, not much in that opening rant was tethered to reality. You're going all Trump on us to reestablish your anti-Hillary GOP bona fides? The Weekly World News graphic was too appropriate.

Poor attempt at humor besmirching the old Corps slogan. A real class act from a guy that didn't/wouldn't serve.

Semper Fi.

Cling to your guns, bibles and fantasy election results. They all have equal relevance to what we will witness come Election Day. I get it, facts on the ground and all, hard to swallow. We are entering blowout territory.

Buchanan ran in 1992, which would have made that poseur in Utah about 12 when he was "active" in Buchanan's "effort."

Hey Dave: My premiums went up 75% in 2006. Can I blame that on Obamacare?

Blaming Democrats for Trump is rich. Most certainly do all elected officials deserve some blame for a swath of anger in the country, but that serving of blame includes a heaping helping for George W. Bush, whose handling of terrorism and the economy had devastating consequences.

No, you might be selling it, but nobody's buying it. The people in your corner are behind Trump, not the Democrats. A Cruz or even Walker would play more into your ridiculous logic there, not a wildcard like Trump. And even if you're right, so what? You're still going to have to deal with the consequences of allowing that gorilla to run loose in your laboratory.

Also, please look up Gelernter. He is a hack of the worst sort.

The liberal media made Trump. They love liars. He is a liar like Hilliary, so this was a match made in heaven. They loved Bubba Clinton, the father of the modern lying movement. They drool over Hilliary. But they aren't sure what to do with their latest creation since he switched from a (D) after his name to an (R). And they love liar Russkie Feingold.

Don't know about that McMullin guy. His name keeps popping up like names of missing children on milk cartons. Sure he's old enough to be president? Does his mom know where he is?

A deservedly anonymous poster at 09:31 PM betrays the puerile quality of his commentary with the imperative: "Please look up Gelernter. He is a hack of the worst sort."

This is what I found:

"David Gelernter is an American artist, writer, and professor of computer science at Yale University. He is a former national fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and senior fellow in Jewish thought at the Shalem Center, and sat on the National Endowment for the Arts. He publishes widely; his work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Post, Los Angeles Times, Weekly Standard, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and elsewhere. His paintings have been exhibited in New Haven and Manhattan.

"He is known for contributions to parallel computation and for books on topics including computed worlds (Mirror Worlds), and what he sees as the destructive influence of liberal academia on American society, expressed in his book America-Lite: How Imperial Academia Dismantled Our Culture (and Ushered in the Obamacrats)."

Some hack!

As even an elementary school teacher would tell you, Dave, don't cite Wikipedia as a credible source.

Also, I get that Evan McMullin is your conservative savior du jour (my, how many others have fallen before him), but can you please spare us another magic-underwear wearing GOP standard bearer?
