Democrats’ problem: Their message IS getting through
(page 2 of 2)
An example of someone who is doing neither is Margaret Krome. “We must reach beyond partisanship to create community,” says Ms. Precious in The Capital Times.
Help a good liberal recoup her investment
Can anyone take a pricey hotel reservation off the hands of former Jim Doyle appointee Roberta Gassman of Madison? Seems her plans have changed.

Subject: Interested in a great DC hotel for Jan 18–22?

A few weeks ago I purchased a hotel room for Wednesday, January 18, through Sunday, January 22, at the Marriott Marquis in DC, 901 Massachusetts Ave, between 9th and 10th Streets NW:
This hotel is minutes and walking distance from the Mall, the Capitol (site of the inauguration ceremony), the White House (by seating for the parade), the convention center (likely site of the balls), the metro and all the fabulous restaurants that I loved when I worked in DC.
As it turns out, I won't be attending the inauguration this year and won't be using the room that I purchased at $599/night … (H/T: Mike-boy)
Sounds like a PBS fund-drive gift. On second thought, make that a Breitbart gift.
Quote of the Day: “Periodically, I emerge from grief and alarm to consider constructive action.” — Ms. Krome, again.
As long as you don’t make it a habit.
