A master planner spoke May 1 at the Havens Center, which bills one Josh Lerner as “executive director of the Participatory Budgeting Project, a non-profit organization that empowers communities across North America to decide how to spend public money. Josh completed a PhD in politics at the New School for Social Research and a masters degree in planning from the University of Toronto.”
Get it? “Public money.” Public money! Empowered to spend! Not earn, but spend. Power to the spenders of public money!
