Cleveland Republicans are what democracy looks like, I suppose

Immediately outside the Republican Party’s green zone is Fourth Street, a one-block pedestrian-only bazaar of rib joints and Irish pubs. MSNBC is set up in a booth and you can gawk in the background as pundits in canvas-backed chairs bloviate about what you just heard, if you were listening. (Pundits! What a useless profession!)

Watched CNN. Don Lemon trashed Clarke’s speech but one of his colleagues shot him down, remarking that Lemon must not have heard it.

The night before, Lemon began an interview with Clarke by averring that the message coming out of Baton Rouge was “peace and coming together in the country. What’s your message?”

“Are there protests over the deaths of the cops in Baton Rouge?” Clarke responded. “Any riots or protests over the police officers in Dallas, Texas?”

“What are you asking?” Lemon said, bewildered. Some people truly just don’t get it.

How's that Grande Old Party working out for you now, Blaska? Did you get that full serving of "Freedom" you were hoping for that your party likes to shout so much about while taking it away from so many? You are a hypocrite, your party is full of hypocrites but I am sure you are starting to realize this by now.

Dave, Do you understand that you can protest for more than one issue at a time right? The vast majority of the Black Lives Matters movement are not asking for violence against the police in any way shape or form. You can protest police violence against black violence and also protest against violence against police. These issues are not that far apart and, for me, it's not difficult to connect the overall picture and understand that the system is flawed. Maybe this is too complex for a Republican to understand. Seldom are the issues as black and white as most would make them out to be (pardon the pun).

Thanks for these important, exclusive, inside looks of complete nothingness! Chachi, underwear model/soap star, Ranting Rudy noun-verb-9/11, Zsa Zsa the Plagiarist. I can almost hear your buttons burst with pride!

I agree with the other comment - not a bit of interesting or useful information. Nothingness with a lot of arrogance. Why are you employed anyway?!

The vast majority of the Black lives Matter movement are NOT condemning the kill the Cops slogans at their "meetings' either. Reverse this: if white lives matter group called for killing black cops you think they would be invited to the White House to get their input?

Democrats who are wetting themselves with glee over Melania's "plagiarism" (a few blandly worded platitudes that make up a small fraction of the speech) have conveniently short memories. The current Vice President had to curtail his candidacy for the top job in 1988 for plagiarizing a speech by British politician Neil Kinnock, and he flunked a course in law school for plagiarizing a term paper. His excuse: he didn't understand the correct method for citing sources. Now it turns out that Michelle's 2008 speech was a cut-and-paste job with material drawn from the writings of Saul Alinsky.

How's that for liberal hypocrisy, 2:32?

Sorry 12:43, the smooth-running Trump campaign just admitted the plagiarism (IOW found someone to fall on their sword). Only took a couple of days (thanks for keeping the story alive!). Day two gave us "LOCK HER UP'" "GUILTY" and a Paul Ryan's 12 minute speech wherein he mentions Hair Furor's name once. Ha! So inspiring!
