Washington political sources see Ryan bandwagon
Republican national convention turns to Paul Ryan? Two influential Washington political sources now observe what Your Humble Squire has been telling you as far back as November 18. The Hill sees “a brokered convention for Paul Ryan.”
Another political specialty source, Roll Call, on January 3 reports “talk about the Republicans deadlocking in Cleveland come July started more than a month ago. And in recent days, politically smart people at three successive holiday social gatherings have envisioned the same climactic plot twist: The next GOP presidential nominee will be Paul D. Ryan.
“Prepare to be gobsmacked with how much sense that makes.”
Mark Pocan has nothing to say? Huzzah!
Egged on by Wisconsin’s Democratic party establishment, Barack Obama’s Department of Justice combed over Milwaukee’s school voucher program looking for discrimination against special needs students and finds … nothing. Bupkus.

“Most aggressive in the jihad against education reform was U.S. Rep. Mark Pocan, who does not even represent Milwaukee. In 2014, Pocan said the complaints the DOJ was looking into were “especially egregious.”
Instead, the DOJ probe found only that that Pocan is especially wrong-headed. But we already knew that.
