Progressive Dane has solved the problem in schools

Igor recalls some history

On the Isthmus forum, “Igor” (in honor of the late, great Gene Wilder, we pronounce it “Eye-gore”) also says:

School safety became a big issue for white people after Columbine, but in some inner city schools that concern has been there for a long time. Gangs can take over in high schools and middle schools very quickly. The people who most want police in the schools are the parents of kids who aren’t in gangs, which are by far the majority. So, yeah, study how police can be more effectively and fairly used in schools, but don’t think you are ever going to have any support to get rid of them.

Brenda, you and I both attended the chief’s community outreach at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in early 2015. You turned off your camera when the black mother told the chief he was welcome in her neighborhood. “Bring more police,” she said. At other events, your Black Lives Matter friends did their best to disrupt with their chanting. No one is denied access. You’re the one running the dog and pony show and Madison is wise to you.

Just so you know — Three of the seven members of the Madison School Board are Progressive Dane: Anna Moffitt, Dean Loumos, and TJ Mertz.

For extra credit — New York City police department honors Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke. Liberal heads explode!

Wow, you really get a lot of your ideas from the Isthmus forum.

That's the union that honored Dave Clarke, sheriff of cable TV, not the department. But what are facts, really?

Progressive Dane types want to remove police from schools simply because the idea of police in schools offends their delicate sensibilities. As is always the case with Madison's liberal elites, image is everything. Cops in schools? Maybe in unenlightened, regressive, declasse places like Milwaukee or Chicago, but HERE? Never. There's only one thing Madison liberals value more than doing the right thing, and that's being SEEN to do the right thing--by their dim, flickering lights, anyway. From where I'm sitting, it's just their latest exercise in hypocrisy and pretension.

Is "outrage machine" the new name for this blog?

The "outrage machine" is not the new name for this blog. It's the same old name "Cut and Paste." Blaska never has an original thought; nothing but cherry-picked quotes from other people. Maybe some "almost a delegate" should form his own private security compamy, charge outrageous amounts for his service and have scooter give him millions in tax credits. That would bring the balloons down from the rafters for sure.
