7 local startups make finals in Governor’s Business Plan Contest

Thirteen finalists have been announced in this year’s Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest, seven of which hail from the Madison area.

Those seven include:

  • Asto CT (Madison)
  • Complete Phytochemical Solutions (Cambridge)
  • Linectra (Madison)
  • Lynx Biosciences (Madison)
  • POLCO (Madison)
  • WeightUp Solutions (Madison)
  • Xemex Static Mixer (Madison)

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, both Linectra and WeightUp Solutions have gone participated in gener8tor’s gBETA early-stage mentorship program.

The 13 Business Plan Contest finalists will present their ideas at the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference at the Alliant Energy Center on June 7, and winners will be announced June 8 during the conference’s closing luncheon.
