6 area startups get federal grants

Through the federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Advance program, six area high tech startups will receive financial boosts, as reported in BizTimes.com.

Three Phase I grants of $75,000 were awarded to Onexio Biosystems and Pyran, Madison, and Stem Pharm in Fitchburg.

Stem II awards of $100,00 each will go to Flexcompute, NCD Technologies, and Phyllo Tech of Middleton.
