2 Madison companies among 2023 SBA National Small Business Week award nominees

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Wisconsin office received 18 nominations for its 2023 National Small Business Week awards from businesses and organizations around the state, two of which were for Madison companies.

Madison-based Just Veggiez and U.S. University Pathways were both nominated for awards. Entries were received for the SBA Small Business Person of the Year; Small Business Exporter of the Year; 8(a) Graduate of the Year; Emerging Small Business; Minority Small Business Champion; and Veterans Small Business Champion. SBA partners SCORE, the Small Business Development Center network, and SBA Women’s Business Centers were also nominated.

National Small Business Week award winners are expected to be announced in mid-March.
