How to Market to, and Give to, Charitable Organizations" - Sales & Marketing Executives of Madison |
| 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. |
Johnny Delmonico's |
In this season of giving we wanted to offer our SME Madison members and guests the opportunity for both education and donation.
Please join us Thursday, December 10, 2009 for our program highlighting Kathleen E. Woit, Ph.D., President of the Madison Community Foundation.
Kathleen has generously volunteered her time to teach us:
* How to market to charitable organizations
* The types of companies charitable organizations chose to do business with
* How one of the charities in Madison is doing-more-with-less, and still managed to raise money for their new food pantry without a capital campaign
* Why/how money donations sometimes go farther than product donations
To continue the giving spirit, we invite you to clean out your closets. Bring in your gently used business clothes and SME will donate them to area organizations (no need to dry clean them that will be taken care of).
Also, if you want to send a monetary donation to any Madison charity – but just don’t have the time for one more thing to do – we will take care of it for you. There will be envelopes on the tables. Simply write a check to the charity of your choice and we will mail them! |
