Tue, December 8 MITA December Meeting: Festive Lunch “Cultural Sensitivities and Implications of Gift Giving”
11:30 AM Sheraton Madison Hotel, 706 John Nolen Drive, Madison, WI 53713, ph: (608) 251-2300
Gift giving is an important part of acknowledging business relationships, but other cultures interpret and use gifts in different ways. By better understanding the complex meanings of gift giving, successful businesses can forge vital connections with overseas suppliers, customers, and new clients. As the holiday season approaches, join MITA for a special presentation by Richard Gesteland, owner of Global Management LLC, on awareness of cultural sensitivities and the protocol of gift giving in your international business endeavors.
Cost: $30 for members; $35 for non-members
