Being a financially savvy woman involves taking charge of your finances and making decisions that have important financial implications. To help women gain the financial knowledge they need and become successful planners, Summit Credit Union is holding two free seminars entitled, “Spend Less, Save More, Enjoy Life: Financial Tips for Women in Today’s Economy.”
The seminars will be held on Thurs., Feb. 9 and repeated on Thurs., March 8, from 6-8 p.m. at Bonfyre American Grill, at Arbor Gate Towers, located on 2601 West Beltline Highway in Madison.
The seminars will be broken into two, 45-minute segments. 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Madison Children's Museum, 100 N. Hamilton St., Madison
This lighthearted event includes a single lap around the Capitol Square, followed by a complimentary lunch, mingling and fun at the Madison Children’s Museum.

Orange Shoe Personal Fitness will hold a group stretching session prior to the run.

Running is not required. The lap is optional and can be completed at one’s own pace. There will be water stations at each corner, accentuating the jovial nature of the “run.”
