Now Accepting Entries for the State of Wisconsin
IB invites your participation in the 5th annual Commercial Design Awards. This year, IB honors the best commercial design projects throughout the State of Wisconsin. The winners in each award category will be unveiled at an awards dinner on May 8, 2012 at the Sheraton Madison Hotel. The winners will be featured in the May 2012 issue of IB with the 2012 Project of the Year gracing the cover of this anticipated issue.
Awards
One winner will be announced in each of the award categories. The winning project in each category will be presented with one award trophy, given to the qualifying nominee. When design input arises from two or more firms, they shall be listed alphabetically. All participants substantially contributing to the design of the project must be given credit as part of the submission.
Eligibility
For consideration in the award categories, submitted projects must have been completed between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011 in the State of Wisconsin. Projects may be submitted for more than one category if applicable.
Award Categories
- Best New Development — Office
- Best New Development — Retail
- Best Renovation — Office
- Best Renovation — Retail
- Best New Development or Renovation — Small Building (under 25,000 square feet)
- Best New Development or Renovation — Medium Building (25,000 to 100,000 square feet)
- Best New Development or Renovation — Large Building (over 100,000 square feet)
- Best Green-Built Project
- Project of the Year (all entries will be put into consideration for this award)
Judges
IB has established a distinguished judging panel with a wide range of expertise in commercial design.
Deadline
All projects must be received by February 15, 2012.
