PrintOrpheum Theatre may have new life
The iconic Orpheum Theatre on State Street in Madison may be revived thanks to Frank Productions, which will manage the theater until it is sold. The theater went into receivership immediately after Monona State Bank filed for foreclosure against its co-owners in September. Frank Productions, which has applied for a new liquor license and could open the venue soon, is reportedly interested in a long-term commitment and hopes to be a bidder when the property goes to auction next year.
