GE Healthcare to cut Wisconsin workforce by 2%
As part of a streamlining effort, GE Healthcare announced it will reduce its Wisconsin workforce by 2%, meaning the loss of about 14 jobs at its Life Support Systems plant in Madison where the company employs about 700 workers. Reportedly, the company hopes to move those affected into other positions, and will offer a benefits package for those it is unable to place.
