From Babies R Us to ethnic grocery?

The long vacated Babies R Us store near East Towne Mall could become an ethnic grocery store as well as an ethnic market with about 20 vendor spaces, according to a report in the Wisconsin State Journal.

Global Market Property — a partnership between Chinese natives James Min Jiang, a restaurateur, and UW–Madison professor Guanming Shi — purchased the former Babies R Us store at 2161 Zeier Road in May for $3.25 million and have plans to open the market in late 2019.

Huh. I wonder if they know that the nearby Sears could become a Whole Foods, not that it's even really the same market or attracting the same people, but changes the food market considerably in that area.
