Morgridges pledge $20M more
In 2015, John and Tashia Morgridge donated $100 million to their alma mater, the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Now, they’ve pledged another $20 million — up to $10 million to match donations for student scholarships, and up to $10 million more to match donations for faculty member support.
The Morgridges graduated from UW–Madison in 1955, and John is the former chairman, president, and CEO of Cisco Systems.
Together, according to Wisconsin State Journal, they hope their donation sparks more research and lead to more lower-income students attending UW–Madison.
