The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. (WEDC) provided direct assistance to 314 startup and early-stage companies that supported 2,133 full-time jobs, 717 part-time jobs, and paid $111 million in wages in 2016.

Kwik Trip has big expansion plans

With plans to open between 40 and 50 new stores each year including many in Wisconsin, Kwik Trip Inc. announced a $300 million capital investment project for the La Crosse region that is expected to add more than 300 jobs over the next five years and support its overall growth.
